Off-site meeting venues

The Traverse City region provides several options for off-property events on a year-round basis. Consider the suggestions below. We feel certain you will find an event venue or theme to meet your group's needs.
Hold a meeting at one of two large free-standing meeting venues on the water in Traverse City. Both offer full-service banquet menus and complete audio-visual equipment with technical support. The Waterfront Conference Center can accommodate meetings from eight to 300 people in its 4,000 square foot facility on the shore of East Grand Traverse Bay. The Hagerty Center, part of the new Great Lakes Campus of Northwestern Michigan College, can accommodate meetings of up to 575 people in its meeting rooms on the shore of West Grand Traverse Bay.
Enjoy a group wine tasting at one of the region's Wineries sampling award-winning Rieslings and sparkling, champagne-style wines. Wineries are open for tasting year-round.
Board your group on a vintage tall ship for a sail on Grand Traverse Bay. Experience a sunset picnic sail or even a cruise to the Manitou Islands.
Provide your attendees an evening of culture by arranging a private event at the acclaimed Dennos Museum Center. Permanent exhibits, as well as visiting exhibitions of national and international significance, make for a sophisticated and unique event.
Your attendees can stroll amid beautifully restored, rare antique musical instruments in an authentic, turn-of-the-century setting at The Music House.
These are just a few possibilities for special events in the Traverse City area. For more information or assistance with planning your event, give our sales department a call, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST, at (800) 940-1120 or contact us by email.
