CVB welcomes new Antrim County Members

Just to the northeast of Traverse City lies a beautiful, unspoiled region of turquoise lakes, charming villages and deep evergreen forests. To settlers who arrived here in the 19th century, its landscape of blue water and rolling glacial hills seemed a cleaner, wilder version of their home in Ireland’s beautiful County Antrim.

Home to the lovely Chain of Lakes (which includes beautiful Torch Lake, Elk Lake and Lake Bellaire) Antrim County features some of Michigan’s most popular golf courses and is a favorite destination for downhill and cross-country skiers. Its golden beaches, pristine natural areas and friendly communities are as charming as any in Michigan – without the crowds. Best of all, they’re only a short drive from Traverse City!
